The Office of English & Foreign Languages (OEFL) organised an academic writing pedagogy workshop from July 29 to 31 on JGU campus. The workshop was conducted in peer-learning mode by the Centre for Writing Studies to equip the faculty of Centre for Foreign Languages (CFL), English Language Centre (ELC) and new faculty members of OEFL with a diverse set of strategies for teaching academic writing. The workshop covered aspects of academic writing such as structuring arguments and articles, citing sources, and providing constructive feedback to students. 

At the end of the workshop, JGU Registrar, Prof. Dabiru Sridhar Patnaik, distributed certificates to 24 participants including the facilitators. Two special awards for meritorious participation were given to Ms. Pia Bakshi (CWS) and Dr Fatemeh Rajabi (ELC).
