The official JGU Anthem was launched on 16th University Day on September 30. The JGU Anthem, in English and Hindi, was officially released by Mr. Amitabh Kant, former G20 Sherpa of India, during the special interaction on 'The India Story, Brand India' at the JGU campus.
For the first time, JGU will have its own anthem to build a sense of collective consciousness and community engagement. An anthem is an integral part of any institution. It is a binding factor bringing students, staff, alumni, and well-wishers of JGU across geographies, generations and time together. It symbolises JGU's sense of identity, pride and belonging to this university, reflecting the common vision, values and ethics, and encapsulates the very spirit of the institution.
It is composed collaboratively by the musicians of JGU and its Music Society. It seeks to give voice to the aspirations and values of the university community while paying homage to the vision of its founder, Shri O.P. Jindal.
