Our dining facilities offer delicious and nutritious meals, ensuring that you can satisfy your palate while nourishing your body.

Our campus is home to a range of cafes and food outlets where you can grab a quick bite, enjoy a cup of coffee, or indulge in a tasty treat. These spaces provide a cozy and inviting atmosphere for students to relax, socialize, and refuel between classes.

The University has secured the services of Sodexo for catering and housekeeping facilities; providing essential meals (breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner) open to students, faculty and staff. Sodexo is a French multi-national concern, and one of the largest food services and facilities management companies in the world.

A state-of-the-art kitchen with the best equipment ensures that the wide array of the cuisines can be prepared well. The food is served under hygienic conditions. The food services are made available in the dining hall of the University on self-services basis. Only vegetarian meals are served with the exception of eggs in certain meals.

Multi-Cuisine Dining Halls

  1. Our multi-cuisine dining halls are designed to offer a diverse range of meal options. Whether you’re craving local delicacies, international cuisine, or vegetarian and vegan dishes, you’ll find a variety of choices to suit your preferences. Our talented chefs prepare meals using fresh and high-quality ingredients, ensuring a delightful dining experience.

Food Court

  1. World class Food Court – “Biswamil Bistro” reflecting the global aspirations and Indian traditions. Outlets at this food court of JGU provide multi cuisine options through brands such as Subway, Burger Point, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Street Food by Punjab Grill, Bercos, Moti Mahal, Domino’s Pizza, Breakfast Round the Clock {BRC} & Keventers. A wide range of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food options are thus available for the benefit of the Students, Faculty, Staff and Guests/Visitors of JGU.

Tuck Shop

Coffee Café Day

  1. A tuck shop operating at the T1 dining area of the academic building serves tea, coffee & some light snacks. The timings of the tuck shop is 10 am to 10 pm.

Juice N More

  1. A Juice tuck shop operating from the T3 dining area of the academic building serves fresh juices, shakes and some light snacks. The juice shop operates from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Nescafe

  1. A tuck shop run by Nestle at the T3 dining area of the academic building provides tea, coffee & some light snacks and is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Fresh Fruit & Juice Shop

  1. The shop operates with a variety of fresh fruits and fruit juices including some light snacks near Gate No. 2 from 11:00 am to 12 am.

Healthy & Balanced Meals
