JGU-Harvard Program on Human Rights in Development, 2026 announced

JGU has announced a three-week intensive residential course exclusive to JGU students in collaboration with Harvard. Students enrolled in the JGU-Harvard Program on Human Rights in Development, 2026 will explore conceptual issues relating to the meaning of human rights and development.

The Program, from June 29 to July 17, 2026, is offered to all JGU students across various schools, including graduating students.

The focus of the program is also on questions relating to the global political economy (including the programs of multilateral development agencies and non-state actors, the Sustainable Development Goals, transnational corporations, and other business entities, the right to development, international migration, and international trade and investment) and other relevant contemporary issues.

Being a part of this summer school gives students access to Harvard's powerful academic resources. Aside from the academic benefits of taking a course at Harvard, students will also get to experience Harvard Square, Cambridge, and Boston during the lively summer months. Many interesting sessions are being planned so that students can make the best  of this program.
