UPEACE Programme on Peace, Security, and the Settlement of Disputes
Description
This three-week immersive programme offers a transdisciplinary approach to peace, security, and dispute settlement through expert-led lectures, interactive workshops, and experiential learning. The curriculum brings together diverse perspectives to help students understand contemporary challenges in international peacebuilding, justice, and security.
The programme is structured around three key themes: Peace and Conflict Resolution, exploring dispute resolution, international law, and environmental peacebuilding; Security and Justice, examining food security, climate justice, organised crime, and transitional justice; and Peacebuilding Strategies, focusing on peace education, the role of media in conflict resolution, digital rights, and international security reforms.
