1. Center for Environment, Sustainability, and Human Development (CESH) 

Objective: 

  • Conducts transdisciplinary research integrating environmental science with social studies, economics, policy, and climate change. 
  • Use geospatial modeling to identify “hotspots” of environmentally induced socioeconomic change and develop strategic sustainability interventions. 

Focus Areas: 

  • Climate resilience, food security, water conservation, and public health. 
  • Mapping and policy strategies for environmental challenges.

2. Centre for New Economics Studies (CNES) 

Objective: 

  • Explores economic theory, policy analysis, and interdisciplinary models linking economics, political science, psychology, and law. 
  • Delivers evidence-based research on global and regional economic issues. 

Focus Areas: 

  • Urban planning in the Global South, informal sector economics, and COVID-19 impacts. 
  • Financial crises, global banking policies, and development theory analysis.

3. Centre for Research on Digital Circular Economy for Sustainable Development Goals (DCE-SDG) 

Objective: 

  • Develops industry and academic partnerships focusing on the transition from linear to circular economies. 
  • Fosters innovation in sustainability through digital technologies and robust supply chains. 

Focus Areas: 

  • Sustainable and circular business models. 
  • Role of blockchain, AI, and IoT in sustainability; auditing and measuring sustainability performance.

4. Centre for Environmental Law and Climate Change (CELCC) 

Objective: 

  • Promotes ecological justice and climate awareness through legal scholarships and policy advocacy. 
  • Enhance student engagement in sustainability-related legal initiatives.

  • Legal frameworks for environmental conservation and climate policy. 
  • Community engagement and advocacy for climate action.

  • Advances South-South cooperation, focusing on research into emerging economies and development policies. 
  • Strengthens academic and policy exchanges among developing nations.

  • Reducing inequalities, promoting sustainable development, and building strategic collaborations in the Global South.
