Comprehensive Monitoring and Transparent Reporting
JGU systematically monitors its progress on the Sustainable Development Goals through a cycle of annual data gathering, qualitative and quantitative self-assessment, and impact case study compilation. The university shares these findings through publicly accessible SDG Progress Reports, ensuring transparency, learning, and external accountability. Reports are informed by consultations with institutional partners, networks, and external stakeholders to reflect best practice, gaps, and actionable next steps for improvement. This process helps maintain institutional rigor and fosters an ongoing commitment to progress.
Open Access to Impact Data and Annual Reports
Each SDG receives in-depth assessment through dedicated reports covering performance benchmarks, highlights, and strategic initiatives. These documents narrate both achievements and areas for further innovation, collating stories from campus, community, and cross-sector engagements. JGU’s reports are openly available for stakeholders, researchers, students, and peer institutions—facilitating benchmarking and collective learning on SDG advancement.

Strategic Use of Reporting for Continuous Improvement
Beyond performance measurement, SDG progress reporting at JGU is a driver for strategic innovation and dialogue. Outcomes from these reports inform decision-making and resource allocation, and guide new academic, community, and operational actions targeting SDG gaps and priorities. The reports also fuel peer learning networks for SDG advancement in Indian and global higher education.
