Dr. Aaina Dutta is an aficionado for clean energy and environment sustainability, specializing in renewable energy and policy issues. Her work spans multiple facets of energy, such as and behavioural economics, sociocultural anthropology, community participation, justice, and innovation.

She has collaborated extensively with international organizations like ADBI and national bodies such as CERC, focusing on policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, impact evaluation, energy transition, and justice.

Dr. Dutta’s professional experience includes significant projects at the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC) and The World Bank. Her research has been published in esteemed national and international journals, underscoring her contributions to the field. Before joining OP Jindal Global University,

Dr. Dutta served as the Manager (R&D) of the Indorama Ventures Center for Clean Energy at Plaksha University. Her research projects focused on developing energy-efficient technologies and facilitating the transition from lab to market through innovative startups. Committed to breaking the glass ceiling, she aims to create equitable opportunities for women and vulnerable communities in the energy and environment sectors.
