Pursuing a BA (Hons.) in Environmental Studies at Jindal School of Environment & Sustainability (JSES) was a transformative experience for me. As the Treasurer, I had the opportunity to engage deeply with the student body, fostering leadership and collaboration. The faculty’s dynamic teaching methods, coupled with the interdisciplinary modules, broadened my perspective and strengthened my critical thinking skills. Jindal’s rigorous academic framework and experiential learning approach played a crucial role in shaping my understanding of sustainability. The opportunity of writing a dissertation during the undergraduate degree provides tremendous learning experience and is a stand out element by adding value to my career.
The knowledge and insights I gained have been instrumental in my postgraduate studies in MSc Environmental Management at the University of Reading, where I continue to build on the strong foundation laid by Jindal. I am grateful for the stimulating academic environment and supportive community that encouraged my growth, both academically and personally.
