The United Nations Short-Term Study Abroad Programme on International Criminal Law and Justice offers students a two-week academic immersion in The Hague, the global capital of international law. Through expert-led sessions, seminars, and site visits to leading legal institutions situated in The Hague, students will explore the legal frameworks and institutions in the context of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. The students will observe a live hearing at the International Criminal Court and the programme provides direct engagement with practitioners, judges, and scholars, offering insights into the functioning of international legal institutions like the International Criminal Court (ICC), the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and other international tribunals.
