Professor C. Raj Kumar, the Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University is an accomplished legal scholar and works in the fields of human rights and development, comparative constitutional law, terrorism and national security, corruption and governance, law and disaster management, legal education and higher education. Professor Kumar is also a Member of the National Legal Knowledge Council (NLKC) and a Honorary Consultant to the National Human Rights Commission in India. Professor Kumar has held consultancy assignments in the field of human rights and governance. He has been a Consultant to the United Nations University (UNU), Tokyo; United Nations Development Programme (UNDP); and the International Council for Human Rights Policy (ICHRP), Geneva. He has advised the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) in Sri Lanka and the National Human Rights Commission (NRC) in India on issues relating to corruption and good governance. Professor Kumar is an Attorney at Law and is admitted to the Bar Council of Delhi, India and the Bar of the State of New York, USA.

Dr. Vesselin Popovski prepared a report urging revision of the UN Charter and shared it with all Ambassadors to the UN in New York at the opening of the Annual Session of the UN General Assembly in New York in September 2023
Dr. Yonghwan Choung is a part of the Indian Mediation Act to Korean Legislation Research Institute.
Dr. Max Steuer evaluated a grant application submitted to the Slovak Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sport (VEGA agency) and another one for the Polish National Science Centre.
Dr. Finita Roy was extended the invitation to serve as an expert on the Board of Studies at the Department of Rehabilitation science , Holy Cross College on 28th October 2023 . The activity involves the chance to collaborate with fellow experts and faculty members to provide insights, guidance, and recommendations that will positively impact the quality of education at the Department of Rehabilitation science, Holy Cross College.
Prof. Sakshi Vijay provided Evidence to the Rajya Sabha Parliamentary committee regarding suggestions on the Mediation Bill 2023.
Prof. Anjali Chawla collaborated with senior advocates of the High Court and Supreme Court under the aegis of Madhyam to give suggestions on the Mediation Bill (now an Act).
Dr. Esther Christine Schmidt, in her capacity as director of the Centre for Historic Houses, National Expert Heritage Body as per Government of India, regularly advises owners of historic houses or other cultural institutions dealing with the management of historic buildings. In 2023, her team organised a Risk Management Seminar for the Resilient Management of Historic Buildings, jointly with the National Institute for Risk and Disaster Management. Her team also advised the management of the Fort in Kotagarh on various aspects of heritage management and heritage interpretation.
Dr. Mousumi Mukherjee has been an expert participant in panel discussion on “Development of a Strategy to Present India’s Experiences in Strengthening Research and Promoting Innovation through Richer Collaboration” as part of Consultative Meet on India’s G20 Presidency and the Education Agenda organised by the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration, February 13-14, 2023. She was also an expert participant in the G20-W20 “Women Vice Chancellors’ and Leaders’ Conclave” organised by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru, May 26-27, 2023 to draft a working paper on Women in Higher Education for Enabling Leadership.
Prof. Subhomoy Bhattacharjee has served as adviser to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways. He has been included in internal committees on port development. The ministry has also received reports by him on the India Middle East Economic Corridor and on the International North South Trade Corridor. Prof. Bhattacharjee also heads the Centre for Regulatory Governance in JGLS as Director.
Prof. Mary Sabina Peters was appointed as the Research Consultant for India from June 2023 to November 2023 in the research project titled “Advocating for a Regional Agreement on Environmental Protection – Climate Change” initiated by the Centre for Environmental Law and Policy affiliated to the Faculty of Law of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. This project is part of the European Union funded Support to Justice Sector Project (JURE), jointly implemented by UNDP and UNICEF Sri Lanka, and facilitated by the Ministry of Justice.
Ms. Vandana Gyanchandani has worked for the Centre for International Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), IIFT as an expert reviewer on Trade and Gender Paper and Research Assistant on the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) for the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Dr. Arnab Bose is a researcher in Disability Studies and has actively participated in local governance. As a part of the research method of embedded ethnography he is the Joint Secretary of his residential society, and a member of Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI), with whom he has done many stakeholder consultations and meetings.
Prof. (Dr.) Prabhash Ranjan has provided expert advice to the Ministry of Commerce on WTO dispute settlement reforms through the Centre for WTO Studies, IIFT.
Prof. Sidharth Chauhan has highlighted the importance of harmonising various principles, such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), CDR (Corporate Digital Responsibility), and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), as a part of the “Harmonising ESG, CSR, CDR and SDGs, an India 2047 – Centre of Excellence Workshop” by SKOCH Group.

This meeting allowed experts to discuss how lawyers, CSOs and other actors could contribute to protecting and supporting judicial independence through the Judicial Council of the Slovak Republic (JCSR), by means of strategic litigation and advocacy.
Vandana Gyanchandan was a part of the EU CBAM Project – Carbon Pricing and its WTO compatibility for the CTIL, IIFT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, GOI. The EU CBAM is one of the most significant Climate Change and SDGs-centred topics in international law.
