The University Hall of Residence for students consists of several blocks of building designed by a French architect. There are corridors, open spaces and common rooms within each block of Jindal Global University Hostel. There are separate blocks for male and female students. The OP Jindal University hostel for students in these blocks follows international norms and the rooms are aesthetically furnished. Hygiene is an important consideration in these OP Jindal Global University hostels.

In addition, the campus provides recreational facilities including a gymnasium and other indoor and outdoor games. The surroundings are fully landscaped with lawns, bushes and trees.

Living in Jindal University hostels allows you to immerse yourself fully in the JGU experience. It allows you to forge meaningful connections, participate in extracurricular activities, and engage in a well-rounded university life. The University has secured the services of Sodexo for catering and housekeeping facilities; providing essential meals (breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner) open to students, faculty and staff. Sodexo is a French multi-national concern, and one of the largest food services and facilities management companies in the world.  

A state-of-the-art kitchen with the best equipment ensures that the wide array of the cuisines can be prepared well. The food is served under hygienic conditions. The food services are made available in the dining hall of the University on self-services basis. Only vegetarian meals are served with the exception of eggs in certain meals.

World class Food Court – “Biswamil Bistro” reflecting the global aspirations and Indian traditions. Outlets at this food court of JGU provide multi cuisine options through brands such as Subway, Burger Point, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Street Food by Punjab Grill, Bercos, Moti Mahal, Domino’s Pizza, Breakfast Round the Clock {BRC} & Keventers. A wide range of Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian food options are thus available for the benefit of the Students, Faculty, Staff and Guests/Visitors of JGU.

Coffee Café Day
A tuck shop operating at the T1 dining area of the academic building serves tea, coffee & some light snacks.  The timings of the tuck shop is 10 am to 10 pm.

Juice N More
A Juice tuck shop operating from the T3 dining area of the academic building serves fresh juices, shakes and some light snacks. The juice shop operates from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Nescafe
A tuck shop run by Nestle at the T3 dining area of the academic building provides tea, coffee & some light snacks and is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Fresh Fruit & Juice Shop
The shop operates with a variety of fresh fruits and fruit juices including some light snacks near Gate No. 2 from 11:00 am to 12 am.
