O.P. Jindal Global University is committed to guaranteeing that all third-party and outsourced workers are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. The University ensures that every workplace managed by a third-party is maintained free of harsh or inhumane treatment, including but not limited to sexual harassment, sexual abuse, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, or verbal abuse of workers, as well as any threats of such treatment. Harassment includes a wide range of behaviors—such as unwelcome sexual invitations, offensive or unwelcome conduct and physical contact of a sexual nature, and any other intimidating or unwanted actions.
Contracts with service providers require explicit adherence to the University’s standards on non-discrimination, anti-harassment, and workplace safety. Outsourced staff have the right to raise concerns or grievances directly with the University, with dedicated, confidential, and timely channels available for reporting and resolution. These standards not only elevate working conditions for all but also set clear expectations and benchmarks for the University’s external partners, strengthening the culture of respect, accountability, and ethical practice across all operations.
