Furthermore, we also have a tie-up with prestigious hospitals like Max Hospital, Fortis Hospital to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided for the betterment of health for all.
The Health Centre has established a collaboration with Apollo Pharmacy for 24 x 7 availability of quality medical equipment & medicines required by students, staff & their family members. Home delivery of medicines is also available on request.
The Health Center has a tie up with Dr Lal Path Labs, their representatives collect samples at the Health Center daily and provide reports at discounted rates. Having such facilities within our Health Centre saves time and provides convenience for all individuals seeking medical help.
Mental Health
JGU’s collaboration with YourDOST aims to act as an enabler in fulfilling academic, social and personal potential of the JGU Community.
YourDOST is India’s first and the largest online mental health and emotional wellness Platform. This initiative ‘brings to you expert advice from 900+ Experts, with complete privacy, confidentiality, neutrality and anonymity’. YourDOST offers a range of services that includes Stress Management; Time Management; Confidence Building; Career Coaching; Relationship Management; Sexual Wellness and much more. The Counsellors will guide everyone in gaining understanding and insight to develop emotional resilience and put into effect real change in individual behaviour, if the circumstances so require. According to the World Health Organisation, one in every four Indians is battling stress. Students, in particular, are seeing an increase in stress levels in recent times.
JGU has underwritten all costs in relation to the services. Any student or member of the JGU community using their services need not pay anything to YourDOST.
