Akanksha Tiwari, first year student of the 3-year LLB course of Jindal Global Law School, was awarded the BP scholarship to represent India at the 28th AFS Youth Assembly and the United Nations Headquarters as a Youth Delegate. She was also offered a brief training on Climate Entrepreneurship at the New York University. The assembly provided her a platform to expand her social project ‘The Red Dot Project,’ which advocates for menstrual equity in India and globally.
On her return, she was interviewed live for national television ahead of the G20 Summit where she talked about her experience as a winner of the G20 National Youth Conclave, delegate at the Youth Assembly in New York and on climate change.
