JGU celebrates 75th Republic Day
JGU celebrated India’s 75th Republic Day on January 26 with an event on the university campus. The Chief Guest on the occasion was H.E. Kenneth Felix Haczynski da Nobrega, Ambassador of Brazil to India. Mr. P. Raghavendra Rao, IAS, Chairman, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, was the Guest of Honour.
The event began with a guard of honour. After the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, and playing of the National Anthem, Professor Dabiru Sridhar Patnaik, Registrar, JGU, delivered the welcome address. It was followed by remarks by Professor R. Sudarshan, Dean, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, and Prof. (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor, JGU, O.P. Jindal Global University. After this, the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour delivered their speeches.
