Admission Process
LNAT UK is a standardized test developed by a consortium of UK universities to fairly and effectively assess a candidate’s potential for undergraduate law studies. Admission to the five-year B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programme at Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) will be based on performance in this test. The LNAT is designed and calibrated by Edexcel for Pearson VUE, the world’s leading computer-based testing and assessment organization. Students can take the LNAT at their convenience, with over 500 test centers available in 165 countries. A practice test is available on the LNAT UK website.
Admission to 5-year B.Com./ B.B.A./B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), 3-year LL.B. and 1-year LL.M. programme is done ONLY on the basis of merit in the LSAT—India 2024 Exam. LSAT—India 2024 to be administered twice – Jan and May 2024.
LSAT—India 2024 exam is also accepted for admission to the 3-year B.A. Legal Studies and B.A. Criminology & Criminal Justice programmes. Those who have already registered for LSAT–India 2024 exam may not need to write JSAT-Law Exam. Please register for LSAT—India 2024 exam at https://www.lsatindia.in/
Admission to 3-year B.A. Legal Studies and B.A. Criminology & Criminal Justice programme is also done on the basis of merit in the JSAT-Law 2024 Entrance Exam. Firstly, register for admissions application form at https://lawadmissions.jgu.edu.in/, and then select JSAT Law in the eligibility exam you have opted for and leave the registration field blank as it is not mandatory, after the completion of the form you can go back to your dashboard and find book exam slot button, click on it and you will be directed to the JSAT Law registration page.
After registering for LSAT—India, you should submit application to the law school at the https://lawadmissions.jgu.edu.in/
Applicants of Five-year B.Com/ BBA/ B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes are required to make a payment of Undergraduate programme application fees of INR 1000/- (Indian Rupees, One Thousand Only).
Applicants of LL.B. and LL.M. programmes are required to make a payment of Postgraduate programme application fees of INR 1000/- (Indian Rupees, One Thousand Only).
Note: You can check the status of your application on our website. It usually takes 48-72 hours (2-3 working days) to update the status of payment made. Candidates are advised to make application fee payment ONLY ONCE and keep a proof of the payment made (Bank statement/Credit card statement) with them.
The online payment made gets updated automatically within 2-3 working days. There is NO need to make calls or send mails to check the status of admission application fee payment. Your proof of making payment e.g. bank statement/credit card statement will be accepted.
Please understand that your admission to the law school depends upon your Entrance Test i.e. LSAT—India & JSAT Law score and not on the basis of your application to the law school.
