Aperture brings to you: Lumière: A Celebration of Light Through the Lens

Lumière, meaning "light" in French, is not just a word; it’s the essence of photography itself. Every photograph is a moment captured in the interplay of light and shadow, where the world is frozen in time. Just as light reveals beauty, emotion, and story, it also unveils the unseen – and it’s this exploration of light that our student photographers have embraced.

We invite you to witness the magic of light through the lenses of our talented Aperture members at Lumière, a photography exhibition celebrating both the art and science of visual storytelling. Whether it's the soft glow of sunrise, the sharp contrasts of urban landscapes, or the play of shadow and colour, Lumière promises to take you on a visual journey like no other.

This visual experience will also be accompanied by performances from the melodious JGU Music Society and the vibrant Thadeem.
