Prof. Sunil’s passions are Innovation, Creativity and Strategy. He has over 30 years of rich C-Suite experience across functions and sectors. He has worked/consulted with leading organisations in India and the Middle East such as Nomura, CRISIL, The Aditya Birla Group, EXIM Bank of India, World Bank, OMZEST, HAYS and the Future Group, to name a few. He has played multiple stints as an entrepreneur and has led the most successful IPO ever, in the Indian media industry, with subscriptions exceeding US $ 1 billion – book built by Merrill Lynch. Sunil has been a keynote speaker at a NHRDN (the most respected national level HRD association in India) summit with ‘Building Diversity – Driving Innovation’ as the theme, and a faculty and mentor for the Goldman Sachs ‘10,000 Women Entrepreneurs Program’. In addition, he has been teaching Innovation and Design Thinking at leading Business Schools in India. He offers Consulting, Training and Coaching services in the areas of Innovation, Creativity, Design Thinking and Strategy. In the last few years, he has delivered over 175 Corporate Innovation & Design Thinking workshops in India, USA, Europe, Brazil, Egypt & China for senior leadership teams. In the process, he has trained over 3,500 senior business leaders across sectors & industries.

Sunil has a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. In addition, he has undergone numerous in-person certifications and training programs at leading institutions in the world such as The Hasso Plattner Institute, Darden Business School, Singularity University, Institute for the Future, Aalto University and several others.

Prof Sunil Sangra conducted Executive Program in STRATEGIC FINANCE For Emerging CFOs and FPNA Leaders in collaboration with IIM Lucknow – Wiley. He taught 65% of finance departments indicated demand for expedited financial information delivery as the top pressure impacting financial management. Finance professionals put business and social collaboration second (after analytics) as the technology they most expect to improve performance and value. The CFO of tomorrow is a brave, digital-first, strategic advisor focused on innovative ways of moving the business forward. This program designed for Mid to senior level finance leaders/executives who aspire to become CFO in their organisations. Minimum 5 yrs Work Experience is mandatory. This program building extensive skills for driving organizations of the future as finance leaders, ready to navigate through new business landscape. During 9 months of intensive experiential learning you will get deep insights into the forces that are changing the business and organizational models. The program outcome would be transition to the future CFO role by developing expertise, skills and mind-sets to be a key business stakeholder. Prof Sangra also taught how does action learning methodology work in teams get assigned a real world business problem. The learning experience of this program would be Industry Immersions and real-world practical use case with challenges and impact of current and future digital landscape on the finance function and the CFOs role. He also conducted “Exponential transformation strategy and Innovation for Business Growth” training program.
