Basic Hindi classes

This is a capsule course spread over 25 classes, each of two-hour duration. The purpose of Basic Hindi classes is to impart workable knowledge of Hindi to those non-Hindi speaking faculty members and students who need to use Hindi in day-to-day interaction with the people here. No fee is charged for these classes.

Dr. Sureen Sharma has been teaching non-Hindi speaking Indian and foreign students and faculty at OP Jindal Global University as a Guest Faculty. Academically, she has been University topper all through, having been a Gold Medalist in B.A., M.A. and M.M.C. (Master of Mass Communication. Besides, she has done a Master’s in Education also. Her Ph.D. centred on the sociological study of Dharamvir Bharti’s literary corpus.

A multifarious personality, Dr Sureen is a fitness enthusiast, a globe-trotter and a caring home maker. Socially, she engages with youth in various developmental activities. With a penchant for fashion, she is a brand ambassador for Tata Group’s Taniera Sarees. She has been a Rotary International Friendship Ambassador for Peace and Harmony. Her Mentor and a renowned educationist, Dr Shamim Sharma recently dedicated her story book Mangalsutra aur Medal to her. Lifetime achievement award was also conferred on her by Tau Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Haryana.
