Conversations Beyond Borders

The 2026 edition, themed “Conversations Beyond Borders,” reflects the belief that meaningful dialogue can transcend geographical boundaries, political divisions, and cultural differences. By fostering conversations on diplomacy, security, migration, identity, culture, and international cooperation, AGORÁ 26 established connections that extended beyond classrooms and national frontiers.

Sena Latif, Ambassador of Romania and Ms Aurora Russi, Minister Counsellor, Embassy of Italy, who offered an engaged discussion on questions of borders, migration, and security within contemporary Europe. The day continued with immersive simulation exercises including the European Crisis Council, Malacca Lifeline, and Shattered Shield, before concluding with a European DJ Night that brought participants together in a more informal setting.

03
Day Three

Dr. Oleksandr Polishchuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine, whose distinguished lecture focused on European borders and their effectiveness in protecting again external threats. The final day did not limit itself to engaging lectures and discussions. AGORÁ-26 dedicated special sessions to culture engagement through language workshops, interactive games, and the poster-making competition organised by the Centre for Foreign Languages. The festival concluded with an Opera Night celebrating Europe’s rich cultural heritage.
