About the talk:
In our fast-changing world, cutting-edge technologies such as AI are significantly altering economies and governance, and they are also redefining societal values, cultural understanding, and human interactions. Although these technologies are frequently examined in fields like computer science, economics, and applied ethics, their growth and use raise fundamental questions in the humanities. Via this discussion, we aim to explore not just the design and application of these technologies but also how digital advancements impact our understanding of humanity, society, and culture. We also seek to understand what roles LLMs play in global communication and language learning.
