JILDEE conducts training programmes

 
Jindal Institute of Leadership and Executive Education (JILDEE) conducted two training programmes in February.

In the first such programme, JILDEE, in collaboration with Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS), held from February 2 to 13 at the JGU campus, an intensive 12-day Core Leadership and Management Development Programme for Commandants of the Border Security Force (BSF). The programme addressed a wide spectrum of strategic and behavioural dimensions of command responsibility. Sessions covered leadership styles and their impact, emotional intelligence, empathy in leadership, team cohesion and morale building, crisis management, decision-making under uncertainty, conflict resolution, and organisational culture development. The training brought together faculty from multiple schools of JGU, including JIBS, Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), Jindal School of Banking & Finance, Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling, Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), and Jindal School of Public Health and Human Development.

In the second, JILDEE, in collaboration with JGBS, organised from February 16 to 20 at JGU campus a five-day Training Programme on Cyber Hygiene, Safety and Surveillance for officers of the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. It provided a comprehensive understanding of cyber security principles and institutional response mechanisms in the context of the public sector and defence environments. Sessions addressed cyber hygiene essentials, artificial intelligence and emerging cyber threats, institutional response to cyber incidents, digital compliance frameworks, legal and regulatory dimensions of information technology, cyber resilience and strategic continuity, and the financial and operational implications of cyber risks. Participants also explored issues related to surveillance ethics, data-driven decision-making, risk management, and digital responsibility in organisational systems. The training featured expert-led sessions by faculty across JGBS , JGLS and JIBS.
