JGU has once again been ranked India's No. 1 Private Liberal Arts & Humanities University in the EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings 2026-27, marking the fifth time that the university has secured this distinguished national recognition. The award was presented at the EducationWorld India Higher Education Rankings Awards held in New Delhi on April 25.

EducationWorld's ranking framework is comprehensive, evaluating universities across multiple dimensions including faculty competence, faculty welfare and development, research and innovation, curriculum and pedagogy, industry interface, placements, infrastructure and facilities, internationalism, leadership and governance quality, and the range and diversity of programmes offered. JGU's strong performance across these critical pillars reflects the University's holistic institutional strength and its ability to consistently deliver excellence across teaching, research, governance, and student outcomes.
