JGU celebrates India’s 77th Republic Day

 
JGU celebrated India's 77th Republic Day on January 26 with an event on the university campus. The Guests of Honour on the occasion were Mr. Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Dr. Manoj Kumar, IAS, Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration, Haryana, and Managing Director, Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited; and Ms. Vandana Shroff, Partner, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

The event began with a Guard of Honour. After the flag hoisting by the Guests of Honour and playing the National Anthem, Professor Dabiru Sridhar Patnaik, Registrar, JGU, delivered the welcome address. It was followed by remarks by Professor R. Sudarshan, Dean, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy, and Professor (Dr.) C. Raj Kumar, Founding Vice Chancellor, JGU. After this, the Guests of Honour delivered their speeches.
