Campus Overview
Security
We have a strong Security, Safety and Vigilance department with more than 170 Male and Female security guards deployed daily round the clock 24×7 throughout the campus. The entire campus is covered by an effective surveillance system with more than 1000+ CCTV cameras placed at strategic locations. We also have a Quick Response Team to handle any untoward incident/situation 24×7 and conducts regular mock drills to ensure preparedness and readiness in responding to emergencies or critical situations. The campus has a robust fire and safety team with fire extinguishers, fire alarm systems, smoke and heat detectors across the academic block and hostels. There is one Haryana Police post manned by male and female staff in front of University Main gate to assist in safety and security of the campus.
Health Services
Our permanent Health Centre at JGU is fully equipped to provide round-the-clock medical assistance to our students. With separate Male and Female wards, Consultation rooms, Physiotherapy treatment, Counselling, Meditation, and Sample Collection rooms, we ensure comprehensive healthcare services. Our team comprises specialized doctors, nursing staff, physiotherapists, and student counsellors. Additionally, specialists in Obstetrician & Gynecologist, Psychiatrist, ENT, Ophthalmologist, Internal Medicine & Cardiologist, Dental Consultation and Orthopedicican visit the Health Centre monthly to offer specialized consultations.
With a full-time residential medical officer and 24×7 nursing staff, our Emergency Ward has been upgraded with advanced infrastructure and resources, including MGPS system (Oxygen Gas and Suction Pipelines), bedside Multipara Monitors, ECG Machines, ventilators, ABG machines, defibrillators, and well-equipped ACLS ambulances operated by trained paramedics. The Indoor ward with 25 beds and Flu ward with 5 beds are equipped with state-of-the-art medical facilities to handle any emergency on campus. Sports & Fitness
The Office of Sports, Fitness, and Swimming Activities offers a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art facilities, including Cricket, Basketball, Football, Badminton, Hockey, Tennis, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Pool/Snooker, Chess, Carrom, Kabaddi, a Polo Ground, a Swimming Pool, a Yoga & Meditation Hall, and a Gymnasium. We also offer specialized sessions in Ashtanga Yoga, Aerobics, and Fitness for students, faculty, and staff.
Each year, we host the inter-university sports competition called ‘MAGNUS,’ which highlights athletic talent and competitive spirit. Our athletes participate in various sports competitions at multiple levels, both in India and internationally, representing the university in national, international, and inter-university tournaments.
Dining & Food Court
A state-of-the-art kitchen with the best equipment ensures that a wide array of cuisines can be prepared. The food is served under hygienic conditions. The food services are made available in the dining hall of the University on self-service basis.
Outlets at the JGU food court provide multi cuisine options through brands such as Subway, Burger Point, 34 Chowringhee Lane, Street Food by Punjab Grill, Bercos, Moti Mahal, Domino’s Pizza, Breakfast Round the Clock {BRC} & Keventers. Library
The newly renovated Global Library at O. P. Jindal Global University is a state-of-the-art academic facility, designed to foster collaborative learning and research. The library boasts a well-lit and aesthetically pleasing space, with a newly added mezzanine floor that has expanded its capacity to accommodate more seating and an extensive collection of books. Students and scholars have easy access to various sections, including the Global Reading Room, which provides essential facilities and a conducive environment for research, exam preparations, and quiet study.
The integration of cutting-edge technology, comfortable study areas, and collaborative spaces further enhances the library’s appeal as a vital resource hub. With a collection of about 75,000 print volumes and an array of electronic resources covering all subjects related to the University’s academic and research programmes, the library is truly a treasure trove for knowledge seekers. Additionally, the library is developing a core collection of media resources comprising of documentaries, training films, fiction, music, and more, making it a well-rounded resource for students and scholars alike.
Hostels
The University Hall of Residence for students consists of several blocks of buildings designed by a French architect. There are corridors, open spaces and common rooms within each block. There are separate blocks for male and female students. The accommodation for students in these blocks follows international norms and the rooms are aesthetically furnished. Hygiene is an important consideration in these Halls.
Theatre
A first of its kind for any university in the region, the theatre, part of the multi-purpose Performing Arts Academy, will serve the purpose of a Performing Arts Theatre, a Movie Theatre and a state-of-the-art Conference Hall. The theatre comes equipped with BOSE 7.1 audio system with Dolby digital platform; 8 speakers, 3 main front speakers and 3 subwoofers. The audio system has been programmed for a movie experience, and for live performances and conferences as well, and has an LG active LED video wall. It also has 170 movie-theatre push-back chairs, and the interiors have been designed considering the best-in-class insulation system and fire retardant materials e.g. fabric on the walls is of fire retardant material 350 gsm.
Club`s
We have more than 25 clubs which students can join, in order to sharpen their co-curricular skills. Clubs ranging from the JGU Film Society, Music Society, Debate Society, Human Rights Society, Dance Society, Documentary Society ensure that students undertake critical, in-depth discussions and also hone their creative skills while in campus.
Campus Accessibility
JGU endeavours to harness an inclusive learning environment for all its students. Students with a known disability, requiring different academic and other accommodations. We provide support to students with a wide range of health and learning related conditions. These conditions include physical and movement-related difficulties, visual impairment, hearing impairment, medical conditions, specific learning difficulties and mental health conditions. The Disability Support Committee maintains strict confidentiality in its discussions and respects the privacy of the students.

Others
A branch of the ICICI bank is present within the University premises, along with an ATM, for students to manage their financial transactions seamlessly. The University provides laundry services to students at a nominal cost, and such services include washing, drying and pressing.
The University operates housekeeping services for a clean and hygienic environment within the JGU Campus. There is a routine cleaning service of the entire Campus. We offers transport facility from JGU Campus gate to Haiderpur metro station in Delhi for students, staff, and guests at a nominal cost. Cabs for personal use can be booked through a registered vendor on a direct payment basis and at a pre-defined tariff.
