Srishti Malaviya is a Lecturer at the Centre for Writing Studies. As an instructor for academic writing, she is engaged in the teaching of methods, devices, and tropes of critical reading, writing, and thinking. Her background is in International Politics and she has recently submitted her PhD dissertation in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The dissertation explores the relational experience of home in South Asia and how this experience can be used to critically evaluate the core conceptual foundations of international political theory. The work draws upon Partition novels from the subcontinent and is placed at the intersection of political theory, literary theory, and literature.
