JSBF faculty are actively engaged in cutting edge research in the areas of financial methods, products, practices, operations, and technology. Students involved in research will be provided credit for their contribution. Students can be involved in supporting the faculty in several activities including:

Consultancy Opportunities

JSBF faculty routinely engages with institutions in solving targeted business problems. Consulting engagements can vary in scope, size, and time. Project areas may include review and assessment of financial statements, impact of emerging policies and regulations, implementation approaches for digital transformation. These short-term consulting engagements may require travel to client institutions. Students involved in consulting engagements will be offered credit for their contribution. Students can be involved in supporting the faculty in several activities including:

• Problem assessment
• Industry research
• Client interviews
• Documentation
• Solution development
• Implementation approaches
• Developing recommendations
