JSBF faculty are actively engaged in cutting edge research in the areas of financial methods, products, practices, operations, and technology. Students involved in research will be provided credit for their contribution. Students can be involved in supporting the faculty in several activities including

Consultancy Opportunities

JSBF faculty routinely engages with institutions in solving targeted business problems. Consulting engagements can vary in scope, size, and time. Project areas may include review and assessment of financial statements, impact of emerging policies and regulations, implementation approaches for digital transformation. These short-term consulting engagements may require travel to client institutions. Students involved in consulting engagements will be offered credit for their contribution. Students can be involved in supporting the faculty in several activities including:

  1. Problem assessment
  2. Industry research
  3. Client interviews
  4. Documentation
  5. Solution development
  6. Implementation approaches
  7. Developing recommendations

Finance & Accounting Society

The purpose of the JSBF Finance and Accounting Society is to make students learn about the accounting profession and network with professionals, plan and execute exciting events, receive up-to-date information about the latest trends in accountancy in India and the world. The society also envisages fostering professional growth in the area of finance by promoting professional courses and certifications like Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, Financial Risk Manager (FRM), NSE’s Certification in Financial Markets (NCFM), National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM Certification), MCX Certified Commodity Professional (MCCP Certification) and other such programmes. The JSBF Finance & Accounting Society aims to foster professional growth in the areas of:

  1. Accounting : [Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) & Chartered Accountants (CA)]
  2. Finance : [Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program, Financial Risk Manager (FRM)]

The Society also helps students in enhancing their critical thinking and analytical skills by helping organising special events and preparing students to participate in Accounts & Finance related competitions in India and worldwide.
