Avinash Jain is a doctoral candidate in the area of Marketing at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He holds a Master of Business Administration’s degree with Marketing Specialization from Institute of Management Nirma University. His research interests lie in the area of stress and consumer behaviour, marketing application of user generated content, political marketing, marketing at bottom of pyramid He has conducted various workshops on qualitative research using Nvivo and R in Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies IIM Lucknow workshop series.
He has submitted research papers for publication and has others in the pipeline.
Before joining academia, Mr. Jain worked with banking and finance industry for around 4 years. Mr. Jain served at Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services as Regional Marketer. During his industry stint, he was engaged with above and below the line marketing of financial products.
