B.Com (Hons.)

The three-year fully residential B.Com. (Hons.) degree programme at Jindal School of Banking and Finance integrates traditional and contemporary courses in emerging areas with international & industry exposure, professional certifications, application of relevant analytical tools and research collaborations. The B.Com course is designed to give students a unique and global perspective through a world-class pedagogy of learning and interaction among peers.


Eligibility

Applicants to the B.Com.(Hons.) programme at JSBF must have successful passed the examination at the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, and other Government Recognized Boards).

Applicants are selected through a holistic admissions process conducted over three rounds based on a personal statement, supplemental application, performance in school, JSAT or equivalent (SAT, ACT, UGAT, LSAT-India) and faculty interview.

B.A. (Hons) Finance & Entrepreneurship

B.A. (Hons.) Finance Entrepreneurship is an innovative programme that combines entrepreneurial skills and creative abilities with focused training in finance and practical knowledge of technology. This programme will provide students with the opportunity to develop skills through combination of traditional and practical knowledge, and perspectives on issues of finance and corporate affairs.

Applicants to the B.A. (Hons.) Finance Entrepreneurship programme at JSBF must have successfully passed the examination at the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, and other Government Recognized Boards).

B.Com. (Hons.) Capital Markets

A career in finance is becoming more exciting than ever before! It combines two most rapidly evolving industries -financial services and digital technologies. Careers in finance is not limited to banks and stock markets. Through studying Finance at JSBF students have access and freedom to choose from variety of career options ranging from investment and risk management, marketing of financial services, financial law, financial analytics to even art, sports, and gaming industries.

 

Eligibility

Applicants to the B.Com. (Hons.) Capital Markets at JSBF should have completed the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent in humanities, science, or commerce with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, and other Govt. recognised Boards). Students completing grade 12 in 2022 can also apply.

Global B.Com. (Hons.)

The Global B.Com. (Hons.) is the first programme being launched under the India Australia Global Education Initiative. The programme will offer innovative models of global education, training, and research for students in India. Students will commence studies with JGU in India and subsequently transfer to a Deakin University campus in Australia. 

 

Eligibility

Applicants to the Global B.Com. at JSBF should have completed the 10+2 level of schooling or its equivalent in humanities, science, or commerce with minimum 60% aggregate marks (CBSE, ISC, State Boards, IB, Cambridge, and other Govt. recognised Boards). Students completing grade 12 in 2022 can also apply.

M.Sc. Behavioural Finance

This new Masters programme, Behavioural Finance is built on the expertise of the world renowned faculty and practitioners from the Jindal School of Banking & Finance (JSBF) and outstanding faculty from the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS). The main objective of the programme is to equip students with the knowledge about the principles surrounding the psychology of decision making under conditions of risk and uncertainty. Students can then deploy this knowledge to formulate practical applications for managing assets and constructing portfolios for investment clients.

 

Eligibility

Undergraduate degree in any field with minimum 50% marks. Applicants to M.Sc. Behavioural Finance will be selected based on their performance in the JGU Entrance Test or an equivalent (GRE/GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT) examination, and a personal interview.
