Bijit Patnaik

Bijit Patnaik is an alumnus of Jindal Global Business School (2015-17), O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana. He comes from a family of distinguished educationists.

He has obtained B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Centurion University of Technology & Management, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha in the year 2013.

After completing his post graduation, he worked with MangoData (Crescentdata Technology) for nearly 3 years. During his tenure with MangoData, he handled multiple profiles especially in the area of Digital Media Operations & Social Media.

In Digital Media Operations, he handled Performance Marketing & Brand Awareness Digital Ad Campaigns for high valued clients like Patanjali, IndiGo, Jaquar Lighting, Bharati Airtel, Renault, Noon, WADI, Careems, Mahagun, et al. In addition, he also handled the Purchase Orders, Insertion Orders and Invoices for the Ad Campaigns performed on a regular basis.

Mr. Patnaik worked as the Social Media Analyst for the Hon’ble Minister Shri. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore (Former MOS(IC) Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Former MOS (IC) Information & Broadcasting).

As Social Media Analyst he successfully handled the social media team and undertook numerous assignments such as Social Listening, calendar creation for the planned posts, post analysis for Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and Page content management. He used to coordinate with the honorable minister on daily basis regarding the social media content. He was responsible for the content on Social Media Handles during the Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018 & General Elections 2019.

He was also engaged in dealing with Social Media Content for the Ministry of Shipping as well as for the Hon’ble Minister Shri. Mansukh L. Mandaviya (MOS(IC) for Shipping and MOS for Chemical & Fertilizers).

During his tenure at the Shipping Ministry (Transport Bhawan) he coordinated and interacted with Joint Secretary & Director level officials for social media strategy and content approvals; also coordinated with the Port PROs regarding day-to-day port events and operations. He ideated for creating a positive buzz for Alang- Ship breaking yard and conducted website analysis for Sagarmala & Ministry of Shipping.

He started his career as an Assistant Manager in Digital Marketing Operations. He received accolades from the senior management as well as from clients. Within a span of 3 years, he rose to the level of Manager Digital Services.

During his post graduation, he interned with PVR Limited, Pacific Mall, New Delhi.

Being the Campus Ambassador for Jindal Global Business School at Shiksha.com, he received the 1st Prize for Photography task in the Campus Connect-3.

His penchant for good food and hygienic preparation made him took upon the duty of the Mess Secretary for three consecutive years during his graduation. He efficiently managed a mess of 2000+ footfall with continued meetings with the mess owner and the President & Co-founder of the university.
