The Research and Innovation Semesters for Entrepreneurs for BBA students, RISE-BBA for short, is a unique year-long program with a focus on entrepreneurship. It moves students from understanding entrepreneurship to founding an organization, initiative, an intrapreneurial business in an existing company, or starting their own. And while many will look at building for-profit companies, RISE is also set out to support those of you who want to be founders of NGOs, community organizations, and social enterprises.
The course on Blue Ocean Strategy would introduce students to a reconstructionist view of strategy to not only emphasize the shortcomings of the structure-conduct-performance paradigm but also to make them appreciate its complementary nature to classical competitive strategy.
