Prof. Asit Tripathy

Prof. Asit Tripathy is an Assistant Professor in the area of Operations & Supply Chain Management at Jindal Global Business School (JGBS), O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed to be University), Sonipat, Haryana. His doctoral dissertation focuses on designing and analyzing product take-back policy instruments to understand the effect of the take-back legislation on business, consumers, and the environment. His current research interest includes Sustainable Operations Management, Circular Economy, and Platform Economy. His research papers have appeared in repute journals, including IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Cleaner Production. He has also presented his research works at various national and international conferences – POMS, DSI, INFORMS, IEEE, and SOM. Before joining the doctoral program, he worked as an officer at CIPET, Under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India.
