Anjuman Antil is a lecturer at Jindal Global Business School. She submitted her Ph.D. (Marketing) at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. She received her MBA degree from University Business School (UBS) and is a science graduate from Panjab University.
In her doctoral work she examined the role and effectiveness of metaphors in political branding. Her interdisciplinary research applied both qualitative and quantitative approaches. She used textual and audio-visual analysis for studying metaphorical communication used in election campaigns and tested effectiveness of metaphors using experimentation. She has good working knowledge of software like SPSS, AMOS, Smart PLS, R-Studio and NVivo.
She has held guest faculty positions at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi and Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, University of Delhi. The subjects she taught were Marketing of Services and E-Commerce. She has around four years of industry experience in pharmaceuticals and banking in a marketing profile. She worked as product manager for oncology products and wealth manager for high net-worth individuals. During her corporate tenure she has also been actively involved in imparting trainings.
She has publications in journals like Global Business Review and Journal of Creative Communication. She also reviews papers of International refereed journals like Asian Journal of Political Science, Qualitative Market Research and Journal of Political Marketing. Her current research interests lie in the spheres of metaphorical communication, persuasion, consumer behaviour, election campaigns, brands image and sustainable practices.
