Aastha Gupta is a Ph.D. scholar in the finance area at Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. Her thesis work examines the benefits of using derivatives on various firm outcomes in the Indian context. She has participated and presented her research at renowned national and international conferences such as, FMA Asia Pacific Conference, Asian Finance Association Annual Meeting. A consistent top performer in academics, her teaching interests include Financial management, Financial institutions and markets, Security analysis and portfolio management.
