Ms. Deeksha Khera

Ms. Deeksha Khera has joined as Chief Student Affairs Officer of O.P. Jindal Global University with effect from 21 January 2022. In this role Ms. Khera will be responsible for all matters related to the Student Housing Administration, Student Residential Life, Student Engagement, Wellbeing, Academic Counselling and Centre for Wellness & Counselling Services. In this role, she will report to the Vice Chancellor, JGU.

The Office of the Student Affairs at JGU will facilitate in building a sustainable institutional mechanism to foster wellbeing of students of JGU so that students have an enriching and transformative experience at JGU. The Chief Student Affairs Officer closely works with Deans, Directors and Heads of various Administrative Units towards fulfilment of mission of the Office.

Ms. Deeksha Khera holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics from Miranda House, Delhi University, and B.Ed. from Central Institute of Education, Delhi University. She possesses more than 34 years of working experience with Delhi Public School, Mathura Road. Prior to joining JGU Ms. Deeksha Khera served as the Principal of Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi since 2019. Ms. Khera played a pivotal role in propelling the school towards digitalization of education and took an array of initiatives to integrate teaching and learning with technology.Taking education beyond the walls of the classrooms in the COVID pandemic situation, she ensured that education was imparted in an effective and uninterrupted manner through online classes using innovative methods, teaching aids and online educational tools.
