B.A. Honours in Psychology

The B.A. Honours in Psychology degree is awarded following completion of a three-year under-graduate programme committed to the study of human mental processes and behaviour. Students in the Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JSPC) will experience a vibrant intellectual community and receive a comprehensive education in psychological theory, experimentation, and practice.

M.A./M.Sc. in Applied Psychology

The M.A./M.Sc. degree in Applied Psychology is awarded following completion of a two-year graduate programme committed to the study and application of psychological principles and findings. The programme benefits from a strong culture of interdisciplinary research and learning, practical exposure, and hands-on application. The degree and instruction are jointly provided by the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences (JIBS) and the Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling (JSPC).

Dean's Message

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the new Jindal School of Psychology & Counselling(JSPC). The school is established with the vision of developing a new generation of thought leaders in the highly diverse fields of psychology and counselling. Our goal is to provide a world-class interdisciplinary education to all JSPC students, enhancing their post-graduate education and employment opportunities.

Students will be encouraged to select from a large and customizable set of courses based on their specific interests. Our research-active faculty will employ experiential and goal-based learning strategies based on a course curricula informed by the latest theories and data across disciplines of Psychology.

along with his two undergraduate students, Tanushree Dalan and Prisha Dev Mainrai titled ‘A Cohesion and Comparison in Academic Writing: Undergraduate Students Perspective’ in the Journal of Community Guidance & Research. The article attempts the readers to familiarize themselves with academic writing by introducing the usage of cohesion and comparison
