Emotion and Cognition Research Centre, O.P. Jindal Global University, is set to host the 2nd E-Cog Symposium on the theme "Emotion and Cognition in Education: Current Trends and Research", on 23rd April, 2025, at Prithviraj Jindal Academic Block (T1). The symposium will feature two major events: 

• Keynote Address on the topic " Emotion cognition pathways in decision making – implications for education" by Dr. Nandini Chatterjee Singh, Senior National Project Officer, UNESCO MGIEP
• Panel Discussion on the topic "Role of Emotion and Cognition in Learning: Pedagogies and Practices". On the panel, there are four experts working in the areas of education, learning, pedagogies, and cognition. 

Ultimately, the symposium aims to foster greater awareness of the emotional landscape of learning and memory and its significance in shaping student engagement and well-being.
