1. Completed 10+2 (Class XII) from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.
2. Achieved at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 50% overall aggregate in Class XII (or equivalent 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics).
3. A valid entrance exam score — typically NATA or JEE Main Paper-2 — as part of the selection criteria.
4. Admission is then determined through JSDA’s competitive process including application review, exam score and counselling.
This qualification framework aligns with Council of Architecture (CoA) requirements for a professional architecture degree in India and positions students to pursue licensure and design careers after graduation.
At Jindal School of Art & Architecture (JSDA), admission to the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) programme is conducted through a merit-based, competitive selection process that evaluates design potential, academic preparedness, and entrance performance.
Online Application & Personal Statement
Students start by submitting an online application along with academic records and a personal statement that reflects their motivation, interests, and fit for architectural study.
National Entrance Exam Performance
Eligible applicants must have a valid score from a recognised architecture entrance test such as NATA or JEE Main Paper-2. These scores form a core part of the shortlisting criteria.
Shortlisting & Counselling
Based on the personal statement and entrance exam score, candidates are shortlisted for the final stage, counselling—where academic credentials are reviewed and final selection decisions are made.
This structured process ensures that JSDA admits students who demonstrate both creative design potential and the academic foundation to succeed in a rigorous, CoA-accredited B.Arch programme.
Yes — Jindal School of Art & Architecture (JSDA) offers Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships and other merit-based financial awards to support deserving students enrolled in the B.Arch programme. These scholarships are designed to encourage high academic achievers and talented applicants by providing tuition fee support based on family income, board scores, entrance exam results, and interview performance, with some awards potentially covering a significant portion of tuition fees for eligible students.
At the wider O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) level, scholarships are offered on a merit-cum-means basis across programmes including architecture, assessed through a transparent review process that considers academic merit, financial need, and co-curricular excellence.
These financial aids help make high-quality education more accessible and reward students who demonstrate strong academic performance and potential.
