Rishika Kaushik graduated with a Bachelors in English Literature from Ramjas College, Delhi University, in 2019. She recently completed her Masters in Creative and Critical Writing from the University of Sussex. She has written her Masters’ dissertation on “Rediscovering the Lost Voices: A Creative and Critical representation of the Queer in Mahabharata”. Her research interests wander around Queer theory, Feminist writings, Mythologies, Utopia, Psychoanalysis, and various other areas. She enjoys various writing forms like academic, creative, journalistic, critical, and cross-genre writing. She enjoys the art of Spoken Word Poetry and has learned from the two times USA National Poetry Slam Champion, Sierra DeMulder. She has performed her poetry in front of prestigious organisations like Kommune and the U.K. National University Poetry Slam. Her poems and short stories are forthcoming or published in various anthologies and like Love, as We Know it, Elixir of Words, Healing, Remember the Roses, To Save a Mocking Bird, The Titan in the Dust, and Blooming Kalakar Wordsmith Magazine.
