Pratik is a Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. He completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Public International Law from Leiden University, where he studied international environmental law, human rights law, international dispute settlement and international criminal law. His thesis explored the need to reappraise the idea of a new environmental dispute resolution body. He was a part of the Leiden Advocacy Project on Plastic (LAPP), and a Research Officer at Leiden University Green Office (LUGO). Before that, he received his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Symbiosis Law School (Pune). During this time, he interned at prominent environmental law and human rights organizations.

His primary research interest lies in the area of environment and climate change law. More specifically, he is inclined to study climate-related security risks and examine the role of international law in addressing them
