Biography

Tripti Bhushan is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Jindal Global Law School and is a Fellow at the Centre for Law and Humanities (CLH). She holds an LLM in Intellectual Property Rights from Hidayatullah National Law University and a B.A.LLB (H) from Amity Law School, Lucknow. In recognition of her outstanding research and publications, she was awarded the Research Excellence Award by O.P Jindal Global University in 2021. Additionally, Tripti received the International Award as an Emerging Scientist in the field of law in 2020 for her exceptional contributions to academia. Prior to her current role, she worked as an Assistant Professor at Kalinga University, Raipur. Tripti has numerous SCOPUS Publications in esteemed journals such as Economic and Political Weekly, International Journal of Public Policy & Law, American Journal of Political Science and Criminology, NTUT Journal of Intellectual Property Law and Management, and Oxford Human Rights Hub. Furthermore, she has authored two books with ISBN numbers on Intellectual Property Law & Media and International Law in 2021. Her research interests encompass Intellectual Property Rights, Human Rights, Cyber law & technology, Criminal law, Media & Fashion.

She has been invited as a Resource Person to deliver lectures and sessions at various international and national organizations, including the Asiatic International Business Academy, Peruvian Bar Association, Staffordshire University, Faculty of the University of Indonesia, International Congress, and many more. Her articles have been featured in prominent journals such as Economic and Political Weekly (EPW), NTUT Journal of Intellectual Property and Management, Oxford University Hub, Law School Policy Review at NLSIU Bangalore, Indonesian Journal of International Law and several others.

In addition to her publications, she has also edited a book titled “Handbook on Legal Contemporary Issues in India,” which was published by Blue Rose Publishers, with the endorsement of Hon’ble Justice Vineet Kothari, the former Chief Justice of the Gujarat High Court. She has also authored a book on “Facets of Media Law and Intellectual Property Rights.” Recently she presented her paper in 9th Biennial International Law Conference in Person held at Bandung, Indonesia in August 7 to 9, 2023. She has been invited as a speaker and Panellist at the “International Intellectual Property Rights Conference 2021” in Nigeria, where the focus was on cross-border and international intellectual property rights infringement, prosecution, and enforcement, highlights their global perspective on contemporary legal challenges. She has also presented her paper at 11th Cambridge International Law Conference, presentation at the inaugural Insolvency and Corporate Governance conference in Abuja, Nigeria, and participation in the Annual Conference at Kent Law School in the U.K.
