Dr. Aditi has recently submitted her Ph.D. dissertation on the topic “Economic Analysis of Electoral Behaviour and Political Institutions in India” pursued at Delhi School of Economics. Her research interests lie in the field of political and behavioural economics, agricultural economics, and other dimensions of developmental economics. She has presented her work at various international conferences and seminars. She has given a seminar on the use of Econometrics to the officials from Bhutan Government. She has also given a seminar on Regression Discontinuity Design, considered to be one of the most sophisticated quasi-experimental techniques.

She has worked as a Consultant to International Food Policy Research Institute on a project that aims to analyse and evaluate one of the agricultural extension programs. She has also worked in Delhi School of Economics as an assistant professor and has taught courses to the post-graduate students. She has also taught in some reputed undergraduate colleges like Shri Ram College of Commerce and Hindu College, of the University of Delhi.
