Ayushi Vashisht is currently an Assistant Professor with O.P. Jindal Global (Institution of Eminence Deemed To Be University). She graduated with a B.A., LL.B degree from Army Institute of Law in the year 2017 and thereafter worked with HDFC Bank Ltd. in the Recovery Team. She was the Recovery Officer for the bank and was engaged in drafting and filing of various civil cases and recovery of the bank’s bad debt at the DRT (Debt Recovery Tribunal).

She is also an Erasmus Mundus L.L.M fellow and has pursued the EMLE (European Masters in Law and Economics) Programme 2019-2020 from the University of Rotterdam and the University of Hamburg.

She has completed a course on International Relations and submitted an essay on “How to prevent Failed States” conducted by the Kings College, London.

In her law school days she has been an avid mooter and debater and is still very passionate about mooting, researching and mentoring. Her team has won the best memorial award in the National Moot Court Competition on Human Rights hosted by the NHRC.

Her primary research interests include Public International Law, Private International Law, International Relations, Administrative Law and Corporate Law.
