Dr. Nitin Sahu is an Assistant Professor in the Operations area at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Decision Sciences (Operations Research) from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering. His teaching interests include Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, and Business Mathematics, among others.
His research focuses on mathematical programming, quantitative modelling, multi-criteria decision-making, decision-making under uncertainty, and optimization, with applications in supply chain and operations management. His work has been published in reputable peer-reviewed journals, including Annals of Operations Research (ABDC-A, ABS-3), as well as other ABS and Scopus-indexed journals.
His research has been presented at prominent international and national conferences, including the Conference of the Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO), the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) Conference, and the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) Conferences. His research contribution has also been recognized with a Best Paper Award.
