Dr. Vibhash Kumar

Dr. Vibhash Kumar, currently a Professor at Jindal Global Business School, O.P Jindal Global University, earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management from the University of Delhi. With over a decade of teaching experience, Prof. Kumar has implemented a diverse range of pedagogical approaches, understanding the importance of engaging students effectively. Employing innovative methods, he creates an interactive learning environment where students are encouraged to think critically and participate actively. Prof. Kumar has supervised one Ph.D. student and is currently guiding four Ph.D. scholars. His research interests span a wide spectrum, including employee engagement, employer branding, behavioral finance, and the dynamics of remote & hybrid work environments.

In addition to his teaching endeavors, his scholarly contributions include publications in reputable publishing houses like Emerald, Springer, Sage, and Inderscience, where he has authored several research articles. Prof. Kumar has made significant contributions to academic scholarship. His research publications in esteemed journals and his role as a reviewer for reputable publishers underscore his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field. Beyond teaching and research, Prof. Kumar has actively contributed to the academic community through his involvement in faculty and management development programs, workshops, and international & national conferences.

Prof. Kumar’s leadership extends beyond the classroom, having held leadership positions including Assistant Director of the Teaching Learning Centre and course coordinator at Ramanujan College under the PMMMNMTT scheme of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, he has been associated as Assistant Dean and now as Associate Dean in the Office of Accreditation, IoE, and Impact at JGBS, JGU. In these capacities, he spearheads critical AACSB accreditation initiatives at JGBS, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high academic standards. Prof. Kumar’s dedication to mentorship, coupled with his leadership in accreditation endeavors, underscores his significant impact on both teaching excellence and academic advancement.
