Mr. Abhishek Poddar

Mr Abhishek Poddar is a faculty in the area of Finance and Accounting at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat. He recently submitted his Ph.D. Thesis in July 2023 at Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. He also earned his MBA from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Rangpo, Sikkim. Before pursuing Ph.D., he worked for 7 years in different roles such as Production Support Associate, IT Analyst and Operations Lead at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd for Banking and Financial sector clients. His research interests include Financial Stability, Bank Competition, Liquidity, Loan Pricing, Governance, Cryptocurrencies and Financial Network Analysis.
