Description

Dr. Rajdeep Pakanati of the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) received a competitive grant for the school. The grant was worth over US$ 81750 (INR 60 lakhs) and was awarded by the US State Department to JSIA for delivering a quality Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) on “Understanding US Foreign Policy and US-India relations.”

The course conducted by JSIA and supported by the US embassy drew upon the experience, knowledge and expertise of the international community of distinguished faculty at JSIA and various other schools of JGU, which included experts on the political, economic and cultural ties between USA and India. According to the terms of the Grant, JGU offered a semester long MOOC commencing from February 1, 2022, and enrolled about 100 college students between the ages of 20-24, across seven states of North India.
