DescriptionThis research aims to address gender inequality in international contexts by interrogating and increasing gender inclusion and sensitivity in the focus and approach of higher education (HE) teaching in universities across five countries. The intention is that mainstreaming gender across disciplinary areas in these contexts will have important wider impact by developing gender awareness and sensitivity of future generations of professionals in influential positions. This will be carried out through simultaneous country-led reviews of teaching and learning experience within international institutional contexts through staff and student surveys and interviews, leading to collaborative development of an online toolkit for wider international organisations to utilise.
